Do you have a cross section of how the ceramic and washer and spring fit together in place below the cartridge?

Hi Wanda, Thank you for your question. The RP10700 ceramic seats,o-rings, and springs are an optional part, they do not come in any faucet. In RP8230 you will get an upgraded Ceramic Stem unit and a ceramic seat, o-ring, and spring that can be used in most non-dst 2 handle faucets. If you often go through the regular stems, seats, and springs these are more durable. Thanks, Dave

Does it fit a B512LF DELTA STYLE MADE IN 1997

How do I install the RP10700 ceramic seats and seals with springs in my faucet?

I am trying to replace 10700 seats in a shower valve. The springs go in easily. The ceramic appear to be the same size as the old ones but won't go in. Would plumbing grease help? If not, what will?

Hi, I have Delta Brizo Vesi faucets. The parts diagram calls for a RP10700 (ceramic) seat and spring for a RP42216 cartridge. But, the picture on the diagram looks more like the RP4993 (rubber). I remember replacing rubber before. Which should I use?

The Brizo Vesi is manufactured with the RP42216 and RP10700; However, the RP4993 would still allow the faucet to seal when paired with the RP25513.
